Assessment & Consultation
We evaluate the piece, its construction and existing finish, and discuss the look you want — high-gloss, satin, stained, or painted. We advise honestly on what will give the best result for that specific piece.
Stripping & Disassembly
We remove hardware, and strip or sand the existing finish down to a sound surface. Proper stripping is what allows a new finish to bond and look flawless rather than sitting on top of old failing coats.
Repairs & Restoration
We repair loose joints, chips, veneer damage, and dents, and address any structural issues. For antiques, we restore carefully to preserve the character and value of the piece.
Surface Preparation
We sand progressively and fill imperfections to create a perfectly smooth substrate. With furniture, every surface is seen up close and touched, so the prep must be immaculate.
Priming or Staining
For painted and lacquered pieces, we prime and sand to a smooth base. For stained pieces, we condition the wood and apply custom-matched stain to the exact tone you approved.

Curing, Hardware & Delivery
