Inspection & Assessment

Pressure Washing
We power wash the entire surface to remove dirt, mildew, algae, and old failing stain or sealer. A clean surface is essential — stain applied over mildew or dirt will peel immediately.
Wood Brightening (When Needed)
For weathered or tannin-stained wood, we apply a wood brightener that opens the grain, neutralizes gray oxidation, and restores the wood's natural color and tone.
Dry Time
We allow the deck to fully dry — typically 24–48 hours after washing. Applying stain to wet wood is a common mistake that causes adhesion failure. We wait until moisture readings confirm the wood is ready.
Sanding & Prep
